Aston and Hospitalet mountain range

To the west of Haute Ariège, this massive border with Andorra is remarkable for the immensity of its high pastures, invaded in fine season by Mérens horses and Gascon cows. The Tarascon ewes, they frequent the high peaks such as the peak of Rulhe, a magnificent belvedere which is worth a detour. In the Hospitalet sector, the Sisca valley is carpeted with very rich flora. The entire massif is home to more than 50 high-altitude lakes full of fish.
