Hypocras

  • Hypocras is made in Tarascon,  by Séguelas establishments , it is also marketed in delicatessens and stores of regional products of the Ariège Pyrenees,  but also abroad.

    The recipe of Hypocras is attributed to the famous Greek doctor Hippocrates (V ° century before J.C).

    Much later, the Christian knights, during the first Crusades, were conquered by this real " magic potion " and returned the recipe of Hypocras in Occident.
