The donkey farm

The donkey carries luggage and / or children (over 2 1/2 years old), up to a maximum limit of 40 kg. Cuddly, smart and endearing, he knows how to be appreciated: it is the ideal companion for family hikes. A volunteer, he is also a good walker.
From the beginning of July to the end of August in the Orlu valley

We offer you a day's ride with a donkey, to meet the marmots in the sumptuous valley of Orlu. This walk takes you to the reserve, a privileged site for observing mountain flora and fauna.
After 1 hour of easy walking, the valley opens onto large open spaces, the domain of summer pastures and herds.
The walk continues to the bottom of the En Gaudu jasse; the return is made by the same path. Take the time to appreciate ... From here, you can observe and listen to the whistling of marmots but also, sometimes, of chamois, large raptors or beautiful butterflies!
Departure between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. from the Fanguil car park, at the entrance to the reserve, free return time.
Reservation essential.
Over 2 or 3 days, you also have the possibility of going up with "your" donkey to the En Beys pond (3h30 walk) to sleep in a bivouac or at the En Beys refuge. The donkey does not go further than the refuge.

Outside July-August, the half-day or full-day hike takes place from the "Ferme aux ânes".
